MBI final: Thesis project (40 ECTS) + Colloquium (5 ECTS)

In the final thesis project the student plans and conducts his own research under the supervision of one of the staff members and an external coach. The thesis project contains a scientific-driven study on a relevant Business Informatics topic. The project can be performed internally as part of the staff members’ research domains, and/or in collaboration with an external organization, i.e., a knowledge or IT-intensive company or one of the leading IT or consultancy firms (see our list of Affiliates). Writing the thesis as well as a publishable paper finishes the project.

All students that perform their thesis project will present their preliminary results at the MBI colloquium. This colloquium aims to organize a fruitful exchange between students in their last and individual part of the MBI program.
